Topsy Jewell yellow, green, grey pottery cups

Topsy Jewell Pottery

My hand-thrown pots are made from a white stoneware clay and decorated using a variety of glazes and decoration techniques. The glaze colours are derived from metal oxides or industrial colours. Fired to 1260 degrees C in an electric kiln, the vessels can be used in the oven and washed in a dishwasher.

I have been potting since 1998, trained by ex-Aldermaston potter, Mohamed Hamid, in Lewes, East Sussex. My studio is in Lewes.

New for 2019: Brighton Open Houses each weekend in May, view my pots at 83 Freshfield Road, Brighton BN2 0BL, 12 to 6pm Saturdays and Sundays. More details on the stockists and events page
